BTU-TECH renews the complete system of an old LIBA MAX3 Multiaxial, a first in the industry!

LIBA Maschinenfabrik Gmbh (Germany) which is part of Karl Mayer Group now, has produced hundreds of MAX3 type multiaxial fabric machines in a span of almost 20 years. As a pioneering technology and machine design, MAX3 lines served its owners to produce glass, carbon and aramide reinforcement fabrics for composite industries. As a result of wearing and tearing, lack of availability of certain electronic and electrical components, the machine owners have more problems throughout the years, in running the lines efficiently. BTU-TECH has started and completed almost 1,5 years of R&D and developed a new software to run the LIBA MAX3 multiaxial lines. In addition to the software, BTU-TECH renews all the electronics cards, motors and cabling to make the line fully new and to increase its capacity in a reliable and serviceable way. The first system has been installed at a US customer site for a 130’’ machine and it is in service with no problem from day one.
