BTU-TECH’s customer, producer of composite reinforcement fabrics, came up with a request of a coating line where they wished to coat their fabrics with special adhesive. With its experience and holistic approach, BTU-TECH designed the complete line including the unwinding, tensioners, adhesive coating frame, adhesive fixing section, release paper addition and final winding, all perfectly working together without any tension or batching problem and assuring the homogeneous adhesive coating at the optimum line speed. The very same line concept, no doubt, can be applied and modified (if necessary) to other types of coating, laminating, powdering processes of different chemicals to wide variety of textile substrates such as woven, nonwoven, knitted fabrics.
